If I have a green thumb, then Matt’s is black. Not because he kills plants, but because he excels with metal. Pictured at left is Matt’s latest creation — a headache rack for his “new” truck Walt. It’s made of what looks to me to be hollow steel 1″ x 2″s and it’s covered in stretch metal. Matt covered it in a zillion coats of cold galvanizing compound and then a coat of matte black spray paint. He and Aaron firmly affixed it to the bed with not less than 8 bolts. We’ll sure be glad to have this thing come logging time — we can stack right up to the cab and not worry about the wood coming through the back window.
