Pictures from the Great Christmas Tree hunt of 2013 are up on our Shutterfly.
For those of you not in the know, this is an annual tradition in my husband’s family. Despite the fact that we live walking distance from a tree farm, we load up the gnarliest 4×4 pickup in our arsenal and drive 40 miles out of our way — and then up another ten miles of logging roads into the snow — to hunt down a wild tree in its natural habitat. Matt is not happy until we get at least one truck in the convoy stuck. This year, it was us. Twice. But this year no one had a brake or transmission line ripped free so I was happy, too.
