|I don’t know why my camera insists on recording this wall as teal when it is really sour-apple green.|
I can’t bring myself to cut blossoming branches off of my apple or peach trees and the quince isn’t blooming yet, so right now I have to content myself with greenery if I want a homegrown bouquet. But this English Laurel is budded up and should open soon. It’s a fragrance I like — kind of honeyish — but too cloying for some.
Like my new vase? It was a thrift store score a few weeks ago for $1.99. It’s Oneida and it’s the same not-white-but-not-off-white as my dishes.
